Calista has worked in a wide range of settings in the course of her medical and professional training and clinical practice, and brings to her counselling a wealth of experience. She is able to relate with ease to others and help make them feel comfortable. She is skilled in listening to clients, evaluating their situation, and developing a treatment plan that will meet with success. Her knowledge of medical factors that may be influencing a client’s condition is an important component of her expertise.

Vern Ward, Freedom Counselling, Kelowna, Vernon, Clinical Counsellor

With over 15 years of professional experience, Vern has developed a diversity in his therapeutic approach that stems from his involvement in the mental health system, as well as addiction recovery, educational, and private practice settings. He has served as a consultant to government agencies working with clients with a wide range of clinical issues. In addition to his skills as a mediator, facilitator and trainer, his years teaching psychology at university also underline his knowledge of current research and practice. With degrees in both Youth Work and Counselling Psychology, Jadon is keenly aware of the emerging issues that are facing today’s youth. This education is complimented by his expereince working with students as a counsellor at Trinity Western University and as a Youth Worker. He brings both knowledge and passion to the counselling process. Clients should expect a warm smile, a listening ear, and positive spirit.
